More than half the lots remain withdrawn or unsold as recession fears start to bite.
Strettons auction mirrored the sentiments of investors and the market jitters towards the Brexit deal and imminent down turn in the economy. A recession is on it's way, even a weak pound is now not a stable enough safety net for foreign investors who now face the wrath of the Conservatives in buying property.
It's a buyers market for sure, just a matter of how long it takes for the panic selling starts. Lots remained unsold as sellers want to hold out as long as possible.
